Our Story
Over a century of faith, community, and service in the heart of Oklahoma.
Our church was founded in 1923 by a small group of farming families who gathered to worship in a one-room schoolhouse on the edge of town. What began as a handful of neighbors sharing their faith grew steadily over the decades into a congregation that now spans four and five generations of the same families.
Through drought years and good years, through wars and peacetimes, through loss and celebration, we have stayed together — praying side by side, working the land together, and raising our children in the same pews where we ourselves were raised.
The building has changed. The hymnals have been replaced. But the heart of this place — the reason people keep coming back — has stayed the same. We are a community shaped by faith, bound by friendship, and rooted in this land for generations. That continuity is something we treasure. We are not trying to be something new. We are trying to faithfully carry forward something old and true.
“We are not trying to be something new. We are trying to faithfully carry forward something old and true.”
